I was at boarding School with James back in the 70’s, I was a couple of years older than him so didn’t really have that much to do with him but even so I found him to be a very likable lad who was always well liked by his peers, me included, always very happy and friendly with a lovely big grin that never seemed to leave his face.
I bumped into him a few times after we had both finished our schooling and I was not surprised to find he had grown into a true gentleman in every sense of the word. The world is most definitely worse off without him. My deepest condolences to all his friends and family.
Rest In Peace big fella. X

I was at Duncan Hall with James in the late 1970's. We were good friends and I spent a few nights at his family's house on occasion. His dad taught me how to shoot clay pigeons in the field across the street from their main house. Its funny over the last few years I have looked him up on Facebook and other sites to try and get back in touch but had no luck.
James was always good to me and was a part of my life when I was boarding at Duncan Hall which was stressful time. He was always happy and passed his spirit along to me.
I will miss you my friend.
